As a New York newspaper declared in a feature real estate article, Neal has “A Knack For Opportunities”. He has re-developed signature homes from the 1880’s that have appeared in magazines such as “House Beautiful”, “Outside Inside” and the New York Times. His home on the ocean in Mantoloking, NJ served as the backdrop for the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Summer Special edition. He worked in the City Planning Office in Newark, NJ obtaining approvals for affordable housing. With his law degree from Boston University, he became the General Counsel/Senior VP of Corporate Development for a large Northeast supermarket chain. He located, obtained approvals, built and put into service 31 shopping centers in NY,NJ,PA and CT. Perhaps his most noteworthy accomplishment was locating, purchasing, obtaining approvals to construct and open the most successful Manufacturers’ Outlet Center in the United States (Woodbury Common, Central Valley, NY). Over his 38 years as a lawyer specializing in real estate, he has represented clients on every possible side of a real estate transaction. He also served as the Mayor of Tuxedo Park, NY for 5 terms.
His family has been Cape Cod residents for 29 years. He knows the area, he knows construction, he knows finance, and he knows real estate. He now lives full time with his wife Marjorie in Osterville, where he has been President of the Oyster Hills Property Owners Association.
